If you’re planning on voting in the general election in Shawnee County, you’re running out of time.  The deadline is tomorrow, March 21^st with the election taking place on April 5^th.

According to election commissioner Elizabeth Ensley, there are lots of permanent voter registration locations, including all Capitol Federal and Fidelity State Bank & Trust locations.  Some voter registration locations will offer later hours, including the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, which will stay open tonight until 9 pm and will run from 9 am to 9 pm tomorrow.  The Movie Magic store at 510 NW Broad St. opened registration at 1 pm today and will be open tomorrow at the same time, with the last opportunity to register at 9 pm tomorrow.
