If you could only eat when brand of fast food french fries for the rest of your life, which would it be: Burger King, McDonald’s or Wendy’s?  For me, it’s McDonald’s…hands down.  There is something about hot, greasy, salty McDonald’s fries that I just can’t say no to!

Well, it looks like Wendy’s wants their customers to have that same feeling about their fries.  For the first time in 41 years, they will be rolling out a brand new recipe across metro Kansas City (and the rest of the country) for their french fries that feature a natural cut (with a small piece of potato skin on the top) and sea salt.  “Why sea salt,” you ask.  Because sea salt sold typically has larger grains than regular table salt and can deliver more flavor with less shaking.  And it’s the “in” thing to use with foodies.

“These fries are very much like Mom used to make; or better yet, like they used to make and sell at the county fair,” commented popular food blogger Rick Allen.
