Learn to Play Tennis in Hampton Woods

My dad always said it was a good idea to learn how to play at least one country club sport, so I took up tennis.  This proved to be a great choice as tennis is a great way to exercise and is a sport that I can play throughout my lifetime.  If you've ever considered learning how to play tennis, you now have the perfect excuse as the Hampton Woods apartment community... [Read more...]

2009-10 NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder

I've been playing in the same fantasy NBA league for about six years now.  It's a really competitive league because everyone involved really loves pro basketball.  Anyway, we had our annual draft last night and as expected Kevin Durant and LeBron James were taken first and second respectively. If you did the research, I'd wager that those two will be... [Read more...]

If you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan, unless you've been living under a rock for the first three weeks of the NFL season, you've no doubt seen the magic that rookie Dexter McCluster brings to the field.  Well, as we're learning, Mr. McCluster (or DMC as he prefers)  isn't just a beast on the field, he's a pretty great guy off of the field too.  As for his dancing,... [Read more...]

Here are the players to watch,... [Read more...]

By now, you're probably either knee deep in World Cup fever, or you absolutely no interest in the game at all.  This blog post is aimed at those somewhere in between - those who may not be a huge sports or soccer fan, but have noticed all the hoopla and hype in the media and want to get hip to what's going on.  No doubt.  I've got you covered. Crazy contract clauses

I just came across the most interesting article on CNN.com titled Weird baseball contract clauses. In it, CNN details a pretty funny story about a clause that Avron Fogelman (former Kansas City Royals owner and founder of Fogelman Management Group - our parent company) implemented for former Kansas City Royals HOF slugger George Brett. Small world, isn't... [Read more...]

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Draft Recap

Posted on April 24, 2010 By Chris (Edit) Leave a Comment

Eric Berry was a GREAT pick!  He's a playmaker that will help transform their defense.  After Berry, I'm no so sure though.  They made some good decisions in the late rounds with guys who could impact the offense, but taking Dexter McCluster and Javier Arenas (both in Round 2) are questionable.  Final Grade: B-.  Here are the first three picks... Round... [Read more...]
